Final Project Plan
Final Project Plan:
For my project I have decided to do my Political Stutter idea. After doing the critique last week in class I realized that in order to do this project I would have to expand my idea in order to make it work, so here is the new plan for my project:
1. Edit the videos using ten republicans and ten democrats, on the website there will be a section for each where people can comment on them and rate them.
2. Make fliers advertising the website once it is completed and putting them up through out campus encouraging people to visit the site and voice their opinions on all twenty of the people I have videos for.
3. Go around campus with an audio recorder and ask people’s opinions of some of the people that I feature on the site, then post their interviews on the site as well so I have other opinions.
List of people:
• Republicans:
o Arlen Specter
o Tom Ridge
o Dick Cheney
o George W. Bush
o Alberto Gonzales
o Mitch McConnell
o Arnold Schwarzenegger
o George H.W. Bush
o John McCain
o Sarah Palin
• Democrats:
o Hilary Clinton
o Al Gore
o John Kerry
o Bill Clinton
o Nancy Pelosi
o John Edwards
o Joe Biden
o Howard Dean
o Harry Reid
o Robert Byrd
I plan on spending at least an hour for each person walking around campus trying to get audio recordings of people’s views on these people.

What they couldn't live without.
On Monday I went to the Quad and had people write down the one thing they could not live without. Unfortunately a lot of people did not want their picture taken so I made it all the same by just using a picture of their sign.

Sites & Sounds of Syracuse University ...
... kind of.
Thankfully I live with some pretty insane people, and the library isn't this loud.

A Walk In Her Shoes
Every half hour for twenty four hours I documented my emotions and took a picture of my feet where ever I happened to be at the time.

Thoughts On A Walk In Her Shoes
I really enjoyed doing this project. I thought it was really interesting what the YouTube guy had done and had always wanted to do something like it, and this project finally gave me the chance to. That's pretty much the reason why I chose making a movie for my presentation. I just thought it was interesting to see the pictures one after another like that. Although I never thought that observing my thoughts would take quite that much effort. The worst part about the project was most definitely having to wake up every half hour during the night to take a picture and write down my thoughts. Not to mention my room mate thought I was insane, so did a few people in the Quad and during a class when I had to take a picture of my feet. But apparently just telling them that you're an art student makes odd behavior okay, which I find funny. Anyway, I really did enjoy this project because it really made me appreciate my own thoughts a little more, I never really payed attention to how many emotions I bounced around from during the span of 24 hours.

Technology&Me
I'm sad to say that we do not get along. It isn't just computers either, it's pretty much anything that needs to be plugged in, charged, or uses batteries. Although the most elusive element of technology for me is most definitely network connections, especially wireless network connections. Unfortunately that is exactly what I had to just try to figure out. Fortunately I got it to work, but don't ask me how. I sort of just push buttons until things work correctly, thankfully that has been working out for me so far. Although with my luck, I bet my network connection is going to fail soon, just because that sort of thing always happens to me. I'm starting to think that I'd be better off in the stone age carving my homework into a rock with another rock. It would most likely make my life a whole lot easier, or I could just learn how to use technology. But where's the fun in that?
